The work I do is all handmade and I wouldn't dream of doing it any other way. I use only quality material (acid & lignin free) and everything comes from a happy, smoke-free home!

Adinkra! African symbols on fabric. Sorry you can't see the detail, I'll work on it

Our happy family of six... ...yes, I was pregnant at the time. There's nothing "artsy" about this pic (I did paint the tiny chair you see in the background) but getting all kitties together was quite an accomplishment! Left to right: Madison, Mr. Michou & Juliette.
Believe it or not... they're lolipops! (with crepe paper)

Origami wreaths. So easy to make, too!

"Bushels" of blooms. Crepe paper, a gluestick and straws. In Mexico now EVERYONE makes them, but still. [eye candy]

Woven paper bird. My friend Juanjo taught me how to make them at out last Origami convention and the very next day I made this one. Lovely! Now I'm thinking of making TONS for my Christmas tree...

And here you can appreciate it from two different angles. Brite Hue paper, just as simple as that. Thanks Juanjo!

My ArT sTuDiO

Detail of my studio, part of my stamp collection and sizzix dies. (You also see a picture of my baby Gala, of me and my hubby before we got married and me hugging a camel!)

Another detail of my studio. A cubby meant for the bathroom holds my fibers neatly and by color. An altered tin, Gerber jars to hold accents, my wedding invitation (it was Noah's ark themed!), which I illustrated in watercolor; and a picture of my beloved Nonna with a little birdie...

Some of my fabrics, ribbons and scissors. My beautiful sofa (shh... it's a pin cushion!). Clear plastic boxes store my Quickutz, Chartpack markers (still working, and to think I bought them back when I was designing fashion in 1995!), and other tools. Two things I always keep handy: hand lotion and lip balm.

The inside of a thank you card I recently made for my mom ("Lala" for her grandchildren), before I filled it. The girl (Who looks like my mom) is a die cut from sizzix cut in tan cardstock and handpainted in watercolors.

Outside of the card, sizzix die cut hand painted in watercolor to resemble my little girl. Y

Origami watercolors on thank you notes...

Altered powdered milk can...

Some stamped thank you notes and tags in progress...

A couple of cards I made for co-workers. Embossed and distressed by hand using Lasting Impressions paper, templates and brads.
